Bio

Christie Somers is a colorist, stylist, and make-up artist who has spent the last decade in pursuit of a simple goal: To make the world a more beautiful place one client at a time. She helps her clients become the best versions of themselves, aesthetically speaking...like Dr. Phil for your hair.

Having called NYC home for most of the last decade, Christie has worked behind-the-scenes at photo shoots and Fashion week, alike. She’s been quoted in beauty magazines and worked on makeovers for the likes of Lucky and Good Housekeeping. While working as a senior colorist at NYC’s posh Cutler Salon for six years, Christie became know for her signature Fifth Avenue blonds (although her luscious brunettes and sultry gingers, were equally in demand). Christie’s colors are rich, and her styles natural and flattering.

Christie worked with such clients as Rachel Ray and Naomi Watts during her days in the city. Most recently, she spent four months on the presidential campaign trail as the personal colorist, hair stylist, make-up artist, and wardrobe stylist for Mrs. Ann Romney. With international media scrutinizing each of Mrs. Romney's public appearances, Christie was responsible for keeping her looking fabulous and camera-ready at all times. Following Ann Romney's speech at the Republican National Convention, even the liberal Huffington Post lauded her appearance (and, therefore, Christie's work), writing that Mrs. Romney looked, "...every inch the first lady," and that she "...hit high marks with her make-up and hair."
